With all the attention paid to the intricacies of the figure, I don't want to neglect the base - I love how it is painted to look like the dungeon floor tiles.

Notice the marbling for the figure bases - cool beans, Mr. Painter!

These are the other skeletons I like. The bones are charred a reddish-black and the red-orange flames have yellow highlights. The fireball is more subtle here and easier to overlook.

I'm so impressed by the coloring on these heroes! The color blending of light and shadow on the cloaks looks great and the details really stand out. I also really like the brighter colors on the heroes - consider the visual effect of brightly colored hero pieces with vivid reds, greens, and blues set against monster pieces of pallid white, grey, and brown. The subconscious impression is that of light shining on the darkness and overcoming it. Sounds... heroic, does it not?
